this case has stricken a chord for many women, and many men.

all i feel equipped to do is write, support, and breathe with the woman who shared her pain; she who was brave enough to come forward with the undeniable

credibility of the truth of what she experienced.

all I can do to respond to this moment is to write through the path of my reaction; as someone who has experienced countless forms of unnervingly similar

abuses.

i hope you will take a moment to read, and stand with our sister in love and compassion.

thanksgiving this year makes me thankful for my current safety, and thankful for people like dr. ford who make me feel a little less alone, and a little stronger to

be myself without fear, without shame, and without reclusion.

she will be believed.

Kavanaugh:

A man of fear.

A man stricken with not a bolt of remorse.

A man who was given the pass.

Again.

How can we look into the eyes of our children and explain to them what fairness dwells not in the system of that which our planet is held?

I can only know in my bones what will come of this will be more outrage for the powers that betray us.

It is not the fault of men. It is not the fault of women.

It is the fault of individuals caving to their insecurities; allowing their egos to sail ship.

It is the fault of the indulgence not to choose the higher road; it is the cowardice of following the pack, and bowing down to power.

It is the breaking of the innate moral codes first born to us, and later ignored one too many a time; leaving behind but a shell of a ghost of a set of values:

Skewed, confused, and led astray. 

Deep inside we know what is right, and for that golden truth we continue to fight.

Ford, I speak for women and men alike, when I say with love and the utmost respect:

The gas lighting.

The shame.

The one who speaks out is briskly put to blame.
